
Iyi-Enu Mission Hospital in Ikenga Ogidi, Anambra State is the oldest mission hospital in Igbo land.
It was founded in 1907 by the Church Missionary Society (ndi CMS). Iyi-Enu was the first hospital in Nigeria to graduate midwives. Iyi-Enu was also one of the earliest to start training nurses.
The hospital is now under the administrative control of the Anglican Diocese on the Niger, lux fiat.
One Miss Kemmer Fatepigi, a product of Iyi-Enu hospital, was the first registered midwife in Nigeria.
