U.S. President Joe Biden arrived in Japan on Sunday afternoon, starting the second half of his Asia trip.
In Tokyo on Monday, he will call on Emperor Naruhito before talks with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
On Tuesday, he will join the second in-person meeting of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, better known as the Quad, it is an informal security grouping of the U.S., Japan, Australia and India.
Australia’s incoming Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said he will meet one-on-one with the U.S., Japanese and Indian leaders in Tokyo, 24 hours after he is scheduled to be sworn in.
