Police operatives in Bayelsa State have arrested a pastor, identified as Joseph Fekala, 27, for allegedly k#lling his 26-year-old girlfriend, Kate Ogwoh, in Yenagoa.
Fekala, said to be a youth pastor in a pentecostal church, allegedly str@ngled Kate to de@th after which he b#ried her in a shallow grave in his bedroom.
The incident occurred at the Okaka suburb of Yenagoa metropolis on Friday, July 29, 2022.
According our source, the suspect allegedly k#lled Kate over a N50,000.
“She used to sell clothes. The suspect was owing her N50,000 and she went to get the money from him yesterday.
No one heard from her until this Friday morning when her mother went looking for her at the man’s house and saw the shallow grave, that’s when she raised the alarm.
He isn’t a ‘Yahoo boy’ as being speculated in some quarters,” a source said.
