TERRORISTS BEHIND OWO CHURCH ATTACK ARRESTED


The Nigerian Defence Headquarters says it has arrested the terr@rists who k#lled worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Leo Irabor, disclosed this on Tuesday, August 9, during a parley with executives & editors of media organisations in Nigeria.

It would be recalled that no fewer than 40 worshippers were k#lled with several others inj#red in the att@ck that occurred on Sunday morning, July 5, 2022. .

According to general Irabor, the att@ckers were arrested during joint operations involving the Armed Forces, the Department of Security Services (DSS) & the police.

“Within the last time we met, we have recorded remarkable achievement. Let me bring it to your notice that within the same period, there have been ignoble actions of men of the underworld that have impinged on our collective well-being, namely the unfortunate train att@ck, the att@ck on Kuje correctional center.
