PRES.BUHARI AND VP OSINBAJO ON A TEN DAYS VISIT TO NEW YORK.


President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo both departed the country on Sunday, September 18, to attend different events in the U.S and U.K respectively.

The president left Abuja for New York, United States, for ten days to attend the annual meeting of global leaders, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA77), while the vice president left Abuja for London where he will be attending Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral ceremony.

A statement from the presidency disclosed that Buhari, among many other activities, will take his turn to deliver an address on the second day of the General Debates on Wednesday, September 21, while Osinbajo joins other world leaders at the funeral service scheduled to hold at Westminster Abbey, ahead of the service.
